In Nizhny Novgorod, several schoolchildren who took part in a rally against corruption on March 26 reported to the election headquarters of Alexei Navalny that after the rally, teachers were looking for them based on photographs from the rally posted on social networks, and also held educational conversations, forcing them to remove “compromising” ones. photos from their personal pages. This was reported by the publication NN.RU with reference to the head of the headquarters in Nizhny Novgorod, Anna Stepanova.

Stepanova also added that on March 26, after the action against corruption, the police detained five minors, who were immediately released without charges.

Later, information appeared that in Nizhny Novgorod police drew up reports of failure to fulfill duties in raising minors (Article 5.35 of the Code of Administrative Offences) against five parents of schoolchildren.

However, the department’s press service denied this information to an NN.RU correspondent. Representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs claim that 44 people were detained that day - all adults. Protocols were drawn up against five of them for disobeying a lawful order of a police officer (under Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses), and for another 39 - under Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation of the established procedure for holding a rally). The court has already fined some of those detained at the March 26 protest.
