Russian President Vladimir Putin fired the representative of Russia at the ECHR, Deputy Minister of Justice George Matyushkin. The corresponding order was published on the official portal of legal information.

By the same order, Putin appointed new heads of the Directorate of the SK in the Novgorod and Vologda regions, as well as in the Khanty-Mansiysk and Kamchatka regions.
