The most popular State Duma deputy on the VKontakte social network was the leader of the LDPR Vladimir Zhirinovsky. This was reported by Vedomosti with reference to the study of the agency "Internet agitation".

The second position in popularity is occupied by the former prosecutor of Crimea Natalya Poklonskaya, State Duma deputy from the United Russia party. The third place is the leader of the Communist Party of the Communist Party of Gennady Zyuganov. At the same time, according to the number of views, Zhirinovsky is significantly ahead of them. On average, 68 thousand users read its posts, while the posts of Poklonskaya and Zyuganov - about 12 and 11 thousand, respectively.

The authors of the study note that the pages of VKontakte lead only a quarter of the State Duma deputies.

“If we recall that many deputies have elected single -mandate districts with 500,000 voters, and now work at the federal level, then the figures are more than modest. Dozens of State Duma deputies lead pages, and less than 100 people read posts, ”adds Valery Soloviev, director of Internet-agitation technology.

The interlocutor of the publication believes that the audience of the social network considers such deputies as pop stars, and not as politicians.
