D-pulse. "Anna"

On April 7, the second album of the Russian D-PULSE D- PULSE D-PULSE D-PULSE, American album, on which the group makes a turn from club electronics to pop-sound is released-not only dancing, but also songs. As D-Pulse sing, you can imagine according to the new video clip for the song "Anna" about a girl living in the world of his fantasies.

D-Pulse about the new album

It took only two weeks spent in the Berlin Studio to record and reduce the new album. For us, this was the first experience outside our own studio, under the guidance of an experienced sound engineer, and most importantly, in hard time frames. “Serpentine” is a kind of continuation of our experiments with sound, style and arrangements. This time on the record there are a lot of melodies and vocals (by our standards). On the album, you can hear invited artists, including the British vocalist and soloist of the Crazy P team, Daniel Moore, as well as Katie Diamond, known for collaborations with Aeroplane and the KDMS indie project. We deliberately wanted to work with more classic, song structures and chose the session form of recording the album for this. For us, this is another musical journey, hence the name of the album. Mountain serpentine, a winding road leading to the top of the mountain (we hope, unattainable).

And if you draw analogies with travels - it is how to fly to a popular resort. They tell you that everyone was already there, there is nothing to do there, this is pop. Yes, but we want to go there and see everything with our own eyes.

D-pulse about the new video

Alexander Closy introduced us to the video director Ilya Klishin when we asked if he knew good guys involved in the video sales and ready to remove the musical clip. We immediately found a common language, and Ilya came up with an interesting storyline about a girl from a prosperous family who lives in the world of his fantasies, but, of course, does not suspect this. The role of the main character is played by Maria Kolosovskaya. The team working on the clip even invited a specialized psychologist for consultations to help her more to enter the role and convey all the stiffness, compression and stress that people with similar problems feel. Two lines constantly echo in the video: how the heroine sees herself and the surrounding world and what we really see. The story of languid expectation and personal insanity of the one with which is never to be near.

On April 15, D-Pulse represent the album "Serpentine" in St. Petersburg- in the Alexandrinsky Theater , and on April 28 in Moscow- in the new space of the Theater of Nations .
