Magomed Daudov, the speaker of the Chechen parliament, summoned a local resident Maret Zanzulaeva to the carpet, who spoke at a gathering in the village of Davydenko about how security forces beat people. Daudov, in front of the cameras of the Grozny TV channel, demanded that Zanzulaeva admit that she had slandered the security forces, reports . the Caucasian Knot
The gathering was dedicated to the land conflict, as a result of which on March 26 the authorities tried to demolish several houses, and the security forces, according to the newspaper, beat people and shot into the air. Three people were detained.
Daudov said on the air of the TV channel that Zanzulaeva "accepted the invitation" to meet with him. At the same time, when Daudov asks her questions, the video shows that she is sitting with her eyes downcast and answers in monosyllables. Daudov asked if any of the security forces created problems for her and if she herself saw any of the security officials touching the villagers. Zanzulaeva answered no to both questions.
During her speech at the gathering, Zanzulaeva called one of the policemen a "bull's head." Daudov condemned her for this. In addition, he noted that the affairs of the village did not concern her, since she was a native of Naur.
Zanzulaeva said on camera that at the gathering she spoke about something she had not seen and asked for forgiveness.
