A court in Kazan fined participants in a rally against corruption

On March 30, the Aviastroitelny District Court of Kazan decided to fine two participants in the rally against corruption on March 26, Airat Garipov and Denis Kayumov, 10,000 rubles under part 5 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation by a participant of a public event of the established procedure for holding it). This is reported by the publication “Idel. Realities".

At the same time, during the court session, Kayumov denied his participation in the rally, noting that the person in the video provided to the court by the police “looks like him.”

Earlier, a court in Kazan appointed Elvira Dmitrieva, the organizer of the March 26 rally, 20 hours of compulsory work and a fine of 1,000 rubles. Marcel Shamsutdinov, head of the Tatarstan branch of PARNAS, was sentenced to 35 hours of compulsory work. In addition, another participant in the rally was fined ten thousand rubles. With respect to another woman, the case was dismissed due to the absence of an administrative offense. Presumably, we are talking about a woman who on March 26 went to the store past the Krylya Sovetov park, and the police officers photographed her, and later identified her and called her to the police department.

Today, March 30, the Aviastroitelny District Court of Kazan will also consider an administrative case against Vladimir Solovtsov, a member of the Yabloko party, under part 5 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation of the established procedure for holding a rally by a participant in a public event).

According to Idel. Realii”, employees of the Center “E” continue to distribute summonses to the police by the alleged participants of the Sunday rally. Today, a volunteer from the Kazan headquarters of Alexei Navalny received a summons from the police.

Employees of Center "E" watch videos from the Sunday rally, after which they are sent to the addresses of its participants. In total, we can talk about about 50 participants in the rally, on which protocols on an administrative offense may also be drawn up in the near future.
