Today, March 31, the Tverskoy District Court considered the cases of nine detainees at a rally against corruption on March 26 under Part 5 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation by a participant of a public event of the procedure for holding it). Two were fined 15,000 rubles, two more - 10,000 rubles, the hearing of the cases of five more participants in the action was postponed to other days - April 3, 4 and 13.
At the same time, the court considered the cases of three people in the absence of the accused, despite the fact that they were at that moment in the court building and were waiting for the hearing.
The Moscow City Court today considered the appeals of 26 detainees and convicted after the action against corruption - 23 complaints were rejected, the decisions of the court of first instance were upheld. Oleg Lutin, who had previously been arrested for 12 days, had his sentence reduced to the 5 days he had already served. Two more convicts had their exit time from the special detention center postponed for an hour due to the time of detention and delivery to the police station erroneously indicated in the protocols.
upd: According to updated information by Ekaterina Kenareva, a member of the film crew who broadcast the events of March 26 from the office of the Anti-Corruption Foundation, the Moscow City Court reduced the arrest period from 7 to 6 days.
