
The official representative of the joint multinational center for the training of military personnel in Germany, the captain of the U.S. Ground Forces, Chris Bradley said that the planned exercises of the American troops at the Hoenfels training ground in Bavaria with the participation of Russian-speaking Statists cannot be regarded as preparation for any actions. “In our center, we try to prepare military personnel closest to reality in order to guarantee that they can act in many different situations,” Bradley noted.
According to the military, "these scenarios are aimed at ensuring that American soldiers and allies are ready to solve the whole range of problems that they may encounter in the world."
As the representative of the American army in Germany, Uli Gellermann, noted, the main task of the army is to “prepare the most realistic way”. “Our goal is to see how everyone who trains here fulfills their main tasks in the best possible way. This includes the opportunity to clearly communicate with civilian and military personnel from different countries, ”he said.
According to Gellermann, 1250 troops from Canada, the Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Hungary, Germany, Italy, Macedonia, Latvia, the Netherlands and Slovenia took part in the previous exercises at the Hoenfels training ground.
