The social network Twitter will change the default profile image. The company reported this on its page.
Now, instead of multi -colored eggs on the avatar, an image of a person will be automatically installed for new accounts.
“The time has come for something new-in order to encourage people to upload their own photos,” the company said.
It is noted that users considered eggs “funny and cute”, so they did not use their own photos instead. The company believes that the new “universal” and “serious” images will motivate people to “reveal their personality”.
The image of a white egg on a yellow background first appeared on Twitter in 2010. In 2014, after rebranding, the von became purple.
Earlier it became known that on Twitter they consider the possibility of introducing a paid subscription for "professionals".
