Participant in attack on Russian Guard unit in Chechen village detained

The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation announced the arrest of a participant in the attack on the military unit of the Russian Guard in Chechnya on March 24.

The detainee's name is Ibragim Dzhamalov, he was born in the Naursky district of Chechnya in 1995. The circumstances of his capture are not reported.

According to the Investigative Committee, Jamalov has already "confessed".

• The National Guard rejected these assumptions. According to the official version, the militants were carrying firearms and knives.
