For the first time, the announcements of the action on April 2 on Manezhnaya Square appeared on March 30 on the VKontakte social network. Now the page of the event "We require systemic changes in the country!" Already blocked (as well as the page of its organizer, the user with the nickname Victoria Potapova with a photo of the yellow duck on the avatar), but in the Googla cache it can still be opened. If this is done, you can see that about 1.9 thousand users confirmed participation in an unauthorized action. It is difficult to establish how many of this number are real people, not a bot. But, for example, there is already a version that the founder of the event is the owner of a Ukrainian mobile phone number.
Starting from March 30, videos with an appeal to go to Red Square on April 2 appeared on YouTube. For example, such a video was posted by the YouTube channel Politic Games, which has already illuminated protest promotions in Russia for several years, having received 5 thousand views. On the same topic, the videos diverged on the individual profiles of the video service - for example, the anonymous with the nickname “Porokh bullet” with an appeal scored 160 views, but “Konstantin responsible” - almost 400 thousand views.
Who are all these people?
- The organizers are provocateurs. Therefore, we will not obviously participate. But if someone is tied up, we will help, ”the coordinator of Open Russia, Maria Baronova, said Novaya Gazeta. A few days earlier in social networks, information appeared about the organization on April 29 in Moscow and the regions “Tired” against President Putin, but the details in “Open Russia” were refused to tell.
They don’t know anything about the action on April 2, or about who is behind it, and in the Fund for the fight against corruption, the structure close to Alexei Navalny, the supporters of which were organized by the majority of anti -Coruuuuulative rallies that passed on March 26 in Russia.
“The organizer is definitely not a fund of the fight against corruption, but who is unknown to me,” said Georgy Alburov, the “new” head of the investigation of the fund.
“I don’t know about the action, I can’t say anything,” Ilya Yashin, a repeated applicant and organizer of protest shares in Moscow, told NEW, and a member of the Solidarity Bureau.
The head of the “May 6 Committee”, Sergei Davidis, who also participated in many opposition shares as an organizer, admitted to Novaya Gazeta that he did not perceive the rally on April 2 seriously. It will hardly be massive, Davidis believes, given that the flagship of protest - Navalny - is in custody.
“The experience of 2011 shows that protest needs a strategy,” says Davidis. “Correctly wait for Navalny’s exit, since it was he who gave the first impulse to protest.”
The writer and politician Eduard Limonov, who recently departed from the direct control of the “Other Russia” movement, known for the regular inconsistent street actions in defense of the Strategy 31 assembly on the Triumphal Square in Moscow, told Novaya Zaporov that he does not have information about the organizers of the promotion in the center of Moscow and does not plan to participate in it.
“It is impossible to carry out anything on Red Square,” Limonov suggests, explaining that the area can be blocked by fences in a matter of minutes.
On April 1, an application appeared on the website of the Yabloko party on behalf of the chairman Emilia Slabunova, in which the Sunday action is called “provocation” and “gaponovshchina”. “The Bureau of the Party considers the participation of the party members in provocations that may end with bloodshed and political terror unacceptable,” she said.
On the other hand, about the intention on April 2 to hold an action in the center of Moscow in the format “Walk of the Opposition” to Red Square - activists Mark Galperin, Andrei Nemchinov and Roman Kovalev, who called themselves “new opposition”, which included the Russian marches Roman Beletsky and Yuri Gorsky, said. The time of two shares does not match, but the route intersects.
“At the end of the walk, we spend an open microphone, as well as by tradition we go around the Kremlin,” Mark Halperin told VKontakte.
By the middle of the day, April 1, Halperina was detained by the police. He is charged with an episode with disobedience to the police officer for shares on March 26 (Article 19.3).
“I am detained. There is no reason for detention. Episode 26. When I walked along Tverskaya, the police allegedly wanted to do something, but the crowd took me forward. And now they [police] after three days are trying to blame me for 19.3. I was actually stolen from the house where I live. I went out to throw out the garbage, and there I grabbed three unknown persons. They were taken to the Tverskoy police department, ”said the activist. Halperin did not comment on the “Walk of the Opposition” in Moscow.
The reaction of the authorities to the alleged anonymous protest in the center of Moscow was fast and tough. The Moscow Central Internal Affairs Directorate of Moscow asked citizens to refrain from participating in an unauthorized action on April 2-the Moscow City Hall did not receive applications for a rally, and therefore the action is illegal, the press service said. And the UK in Moscow opened a criminal case of calls for riots in the capital, referring to the announcements of the action on April 2 with calls to go to the Kremlin.
