In Crimea, 239 security forces will arrive from Russia to the holiday season. This was stated at a press conference by the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Crimean occupation administration Sergei Abisov, reported by Crimea News.

"In 2017, we submitted documents to the Ministry of the Interior to provide practical assistance. We went to meet us, and 239 employees were allocated to ensure the protection of public order in the summer holiday season," said Abisov. Additional forces will be sent to Simferopol, Yalta, Alushta, Evpatoria, Kerch, Sudak.

The "minister" separately clarified that among the security officials directed to the peninsula there will be traffic police officers.

After the annexation of the peninsula, the Russian authorities repatched the police. At the same time, in August 2014 it was reported that the occupation authorities in the Crimea did not have enough money to create new police units.

In addition to the police, the annexed Crimea administration attracts to the protection of public order to "self -defense", Cossacks, as well as the military police of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

"Self-Defense of Crimea", which received the status of a state-owned enterprise in February 2015, participated in the beatings of citizens and raider seizures of property. The fighter of "self -defense" is suspected of the murder of the Crimean Tatar activist, Reset Ametov.
