The metro was partially opened in St. Petersburg

Petersburg Metro partially resumed work. This was reported in the official telegram channel of the metro.

Lines 3, 4 and 5 are fully open. Line 2 resumed traffic from Kupchino station to Moskovskaya and from Petrogradskaya to Parnas.

On line 1 of the metro, traffic was opened on sections from Ploshad Vosstaniya to Devyatkino and from Narvskaya to Prospect Veteranov, later it was completely restored .

On April 4, trains on line 1 will pass the Technological Institute without stopping, and on line 2, eight stations will not operate on the section from Petrogradskaya to Moskovskaya, the St. Petersburg reported . metro

• The St. Petersburg metro was completely closed after the explosion on the stretch between the Sennaya Ploshchad and Technological Institute stations. A bomb disguised as a fire extinguisher was found at the Ploshchad Vosstaniya station. Its power was estimated in kilograms of TNT. The bomb was defused.
• In connection with the explosion in the subway, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation opened a criminal case under the article about a terrorist attack.
