Preparation for online broadcasting rallies on March 26 began in the office of the Corruption Fund at the Omega-Plaza business center located in the south of Moscow: volunteers, equipment and operators cleared the central premises in the office, set up equipment. The work went around the clock. At eight in the morning of March 26, Leonid Volkov went on live: a blue background, a duck, a frame with a screensaver of the film “Dimon will answer”.

“We included pictures of about 30 regions on the air. They showed a picture from the studio, a picture from the streets of Moscow, from a balcony on Tverskaya. For the broadcast, they used the equipment for about 5 million rubles: for 2 million-our and about 3 million-rental and partners' equipment, ”wrote the technical director of Newcaster.tv, a partner of the FBK-Vladislav Zdolnikov in his telegram channel the next day.

The broadcast took 10 hours without breaks. Despite the pauses, the lack of experience with the host, hitch and other things that are not allowed in professional journalism, the broadcast came out interesting - with video broadcasting from different cities, the inclusion of experts and correspondents, and comments of the audience. At the peak of the online broadcast on the Navalny Live channel, more than 150 thousand people watched YouTube.

They pass by screens, remote controls and operators. Later it will become known: a certain Ahmed called the hotline and said that a bomb was laid in the business center. The broadcast continues. On the screen - Tverskaya Street in Moscow. Volkov returns to the place of the host.

"Policeman, let go of our brother!" -shouts someone. On the screen is a crowd, people are dragged into minibuses. The protesters chant “shame” and “fascists”. A comment pops up on the screen - "The cops covered Navalny's office."

“They said they were looking for a bomb. I decided to see what is happening outside the window. I see - a lot of police, the road is numb, fire engines are standing. I realized that the building was blocked, ”the operator who took part in online broadcasts tells the NT correspondent.

Law enforcement officers then left. Volkov, checking that there is no one outside the door, gives the chambers to switch to the studio again, there is an inclusion from St. Petersburg. There someone screams after the police car: "Slaves!"

Everyone who was in the Office of the FBK was arrested and sent to the Danilovsky police department. Only one volunteer-operator managed to slip away. “My task was to save the video that was on the flash drive. There was a shooting of a search and work of the team during a broadcast. I thought that these valuable personnel should be left, ”he said. While people in civilian clothes drove everyone out of the FBK office, he turned into a men's toilet - he was exactly around the corner. “I sat in the toilet and thought what to do. The police went inside, but did not understand who I was - there were many employees without shape and insignia. Maybe they decided that I was one of them. Then I left the toilet, went down, past another police cordon. I walked, looked around. The cleaning lady, some other people just stood and watched what was happening. Bomb, say? " - says the volunteer.

The most difficult thing was to leave the office center: in addition to the turnstiles, a group of police officers was burned out. Fortunately, at that moment the director of the FBK Roman Rubanov began to break through inside. “He did it so persistently that the police were bored to pacify him. While everyone switched to Rubanov, I went out through the second door nearby, ”the operator explained NT.

The young man got into the FBK accidentally-a week earlier, a friend asked to help with the recording of the Cactus online program Lyubov Sobol. The video, which was mounted from the “delayed” shooting, watched more than 1 million people.

Leonid Volkov’s leading online broadcast of rallies was sentenced to ten days of arrest: the court found him guilty of “disobedience to the legal order of a representative of the authorities”. Alexei Lapyshev, who helped with the broadcast, was arrested for five days. For seven days, nine more people were arrested, two were a fine of 1 thousand rubles.

According to him, the police redid the detention protocols too at night. “First they wrote a“ fire ”, then they were torn. Then they wrote that a bomb was laid, ”says Novikov.

The decree published on the Navalny website says that the investigation has “sufficient reasons to believe” that the things withdrawn are important for the investigation of the criminal case.

The office of the Corruption Fund was sealed before Friday: law enforcement agencies did not give the FBK lawyers an explanation of the incident on March 26. FBK lawyers entered the sealed room themselves.
