A Chechen with explosives was detained in Turkey

In Turkey, 18 people were detained when trying to illegally go across the border from Syria, including a Chechen with 1.5 kg of explosives, Daily Sabah reports with reference to the statement of the country's Ministry of Defense.

In addition to explosives, the native of Chechnya had two hand grenades with him. The Turkish special services suspect him of his intention to commit an attack, an investigation has begun.

The rest of the detainees, including nine men, four women and four children, are Syria citizens.
