A court in Nizhny Tagil fined two participants in a rally against corruption

The Leninsky District Court of Nizhny Tagil imposed fines of 10 thousand rubles on the participants of the anti-corruption rally on March 26, brothers Mikhail and Artem Pevtsov. It is reported by the portal Ura.ru.

The court found the participants guilty of an administrative offense under part 5 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (“Violation of the established procedure for organizing or holding a meeting, rally, demonstration, procession or picketing”). Mikhail Pevtsov claims that he held a single picket.

Lawyer Elena Makarova announced her intention to appeal the court's decision.

Earlier, the case against another detainee in Nizhny Tagil on March 26, Andrei Batorin, was dismissed .
