The number of victims in a terrorist attack in St. Petersburg increased to 51

The number of victims after the explosion in the St. Petersburg metro increased to 51. This was reported by Fontanka with reference to the Health Committee of St. Petersburg.

On the website of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies of the city of St. Petersburg, a list was published , according to which, after an explosion in the metro, 51 victims of 16 to 70 years were delivered to the city’s medical institutions.

Earlier, 11 dead and 45 victims were reported .

In the State Emergencies Ministry noted that the presented list is relevant at 03:00 on the fourth of April. Information will be gradually updated.

The bomb exploded in the St. Petersburg metro on April 3 between the Sennaya Square and the Technological Institute. Later, another explosive device was discovered at the Square Square station, it was neutralized. In the bomb there were striking elements.

Initially, Interfax wrote about two suspects. One of them hit the video, but after he came to the police and declared his non -involvement in the terrorist attack.

The identity of the second suspect was established. It turned out to be 22-year-old citizen of Kazakhstan Maxim Aryshev.

According to a group of independent investigators Conflict Intelligence Team (CIT), Maxim Aryshev was not a suicide bomb, but one of the victims of the attack. After the explosion, relatives were looking for Maxim. He was online in a few minutes of the explosion, clarifies CTI.

On the fact of the explosion in the St. Petersburg metro, the Investigative Committee started the case of the attack and the illegal turnover of explosives.
