Russian President Vladimir Putin fired the head of Udmurtia Alexander Solovyov in connection with the loss of trust. The decree is published on the Kremlin website.

“To reject Solovyov Alexander Vasilyevich from the post of head of the Udmurt Republic in connection with the loss of confidence in the President of the Russian Federation,” the decree said.
