Altai governor promised help to the family affected by the explosion in St. Petersburg

The Government of the Altai Territory was honored with a minute of silence of those who died in an explosion in the subway in St. Petersburg. The head of the region, Alexander Karlin, ordered the assistance of two residents of Barnaul who suffered during the incident, the governor’s press service reports.

“I give an order to the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Altai Territory Nadezhda Kapure and the Commissioner under the Governor for the Rights of the Child Olga Kazantseva to keep the situation under control and take comprehensive measures to provide necessary assistance to the family. Psychologists of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia in the Altai Territory work with the relatives of the victims. We will believe and wish for a speedy recovery to our countrywoman, ”said Alexander Karlin.

As Taiga.info already wrote, among the more than 50 victims of the explosion were a schoolgirl from Barnaul born in 2001 and her grandmother. They arrived in the city for personal affairs, the children's Ombudsman Anna Kuznetsova, who had a child in the medical institution, reported that they chose the girl as a school.

“The girl’s life does not threaten anything. She has a state of moderate severity, she is stable, is recovering, ” said Medvedeva. “Her grandmother was also injured, she was taken to the Mariinsky hospital, due to small injuries she refused hospitalization, we decided to place in the ward with the girl.”

According to the National Anti-Terrorism Committee, an explosion occurred on the day of the train on the stage of the train on the stations of the Metro Institute and Sennaya Square in St. Petersburg.
