More than 50 people were wounded during the dispersal of the opposition organized by the protest in the capital of Venezuela, the head of the country's National Assembly, Hulio Borges, said on Tuesday, April 4.

According to El National , the 80-year-old man was injured by his eyes, the 39-year-old oppositionist had a gunshot wound. Six people have diagnosed fractures. As a result of the use of peppers and other special vehicles, several deputies and Governor of the state of Miranda Enrique Capricles were injured, Borges say. Dozens of demonstrators were arrested.

The day before, representatives of the Venezuelan opposition blocked one of the central motorways of Karakas. The forces of the Bolivarian National Guard were thrown against the demonstrators. Police tried to disperse people with the help of water bodies, they answered with stones and sticks.

Protesters tried to break through to the Legislative Palace in order to protest against the decision of the Supreme Court on the deprivation of the powers of the parliament, in which the majority have representatives of opposition parties.

The speaker of the National Assembly Hulio Borges in his statement assured that the struggle against the Venezuelan government would continue in all possible scenarios. “The world already knows that Venezuela is not justice, the Constitution is not respected. We live according to the laws of the jungle. The government does what he wants and has absolute power over all public institutions. If the government continues to ignore the law, we will have to achieve the restoration of the law in the country,” Borhees emphasized. Representatives of the opposition called for continuing the protest on April 6.

We add that the Secretary General of the organization of American states (OAG) Luis Almagro has already condemned the use of tear gas, rubber bullets and firearms during the dispersal of the protest in Venezuela.

"What happened today in Karakas makes me in the most decisive way to condemn the repressions from the Venezuela government," the statement said about the incident. According to Almagro, the protesters defended their civil and political rights, while the government violated their right to life and physical inviolability.

On March 30, the Supreme Court endowed the president of the country of Nicholas Maduro with the opportunity to act bypassing the parliament that opposed the executive branch. The Armed Forces also assumed the powers of the highest legislative body until the "disrespect" to the court is maintained.
