Kommersant learned about the new article in the ex-head of Udmurtia

Investigator Roman Mukhachev said that the Investigative Committee (SK) will unite the case of the former head of Udmurtia Alexander Solovyov with other cases of corruption in the republic, Kommersant reports .

Thus, the newspaper writes, Mukhachev “hinted” on the possible qualification of the actions of the defendants in the investigation under Article 210 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (the organization of the criminal community or participation in it).

Earlier, the Basmanny Court of Moscow arrested Solovyov for two months. During the meeting, the ex-head of the republic refused to admit his guilt and did not testify.

Soloviev is charged with receiving a bribe totaling of 141.7 million rubles.

According to investigators, the form of the ex-head of the Udmurtia was handed over to companies that built bridges across the Kama and Bui rivers. Soloviev was supposed to “ensure extraordinary and immediate payment for the work performed from the federal and regional budgets” and provide licenses for geological exploration and sand production.

As noted, in total, in the case of bribery in Udmurtia, four people were arrested, including the ex-wake minister of transport with the coincidence and surname Alexander Solovyov.
