The Crimean "saboteur" Suleimanov announced a plead guilty

The "Ukrainian saboteur" Redvan Suleimanov at the hearing on the merits of their business, which opened in Russia controlled by the Railway District Simferopol, said that he pleaded guilty. It is reported by "Crimean".

At the same time, Politzek did not agree with the amount of damage imputed to him. According to the plot of the case, the damage allegedly inflicted by him to Russia, including the FSB, is estimated at more than 4 million rubles.

As in the commentary “Krymsos”, lawyer Emil Kurbedinov specified , Suleimanov pointed out that there was no document confirming the damage that his actions allegedly caused to the Simferopol airport, the Kerch Parrow Station and other objects of transport infrastructure. Moreover, the lawyer added, in the case there is an expert’s conclusion, which states that the amount of damage in principle cannot be established.

Also, at the hearing on Thursday, the only witness appeared to the court was interrogated - the militant of the "Self -Defense of Crimea", who acted as police officers understood during the Suleimanov survey.

The next meeting in the case is scheduled for April 11, beginning at 10:30.

The process is conducted by Judge Dmitry Mikhailov. Preliminary hearings in the case were held on March 19 . The beginning of the trial was essentially postponed twice due to the failure to appear of lawyers Kurbedinov and Edem Semedlyaev.

The 27-year-old defendant was imputed part 2 of Article 207 of the Russian Criminal Code (knowingly false message about the terrorist attack with causing major damage). He faces up to five years in the colony.

Suleimanov was a Ukrainian military and served in the unit in the village of Perevalnaya Simferopol district of Crimea, and after the annexation of the peninsula refused to take the Russian oath. He settled in Zaporozhye and worked there as a builder, periodically coming to the captured Crimea to visit his parents. On July 30, 2016, Suleimanov was detained at the Simferopol airport.

The Crimean Tatar was arrested for 15 days in a fabricated administrative case of petty hooliganism (Article 20.1 of the Russian Administrative Code), and on August 12, the FSB extended its testimony with recognition in involvement in the preparation of terrorist attacks.

According to Suleimanov, on the instructions of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, he was looking for places for sabotage and left false messages about mining to follow the actions of the Russian security forces. It was reported that the Crimean Tatar called the police and included an entry with the threat of blowing up the airport and the Central bus station of Simferopol, as well as objects in other cities.
