In Nizhny Novgorod, participants in the action against corruption were fined

In Nizhny Novgorod, the participants of the anti-corruption action, which took place on March 26, were fined more than 400 thousand rubles. The trials ended on April 6th. It is reported by NIA "Nizhny Novgorod".

In total, 39 people were detained in connection with the rally, protocols were drawn up for five more minors.

According to the agency, most of the detainees received fines of 10 thousand rubles under Art. 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation of the established procedure for organizing or holding a meeting, rally, demonstration, procession or picketing). Ten people were also fined 500 rubles under Art. 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (disobedience to the lawful order of a police officer). The head of Alexei Navalny's headquarters, Anna Stepanova, was fined 20,000 rubles.

Representatives of Navalny's headquarters plan to appeal the court's decision.
