The electoral rating of the policy of Alexei Navalny has grown up to 10%over the past month. This is stated in the response of the press service of the Levada Center to the Requet Republic.
Earlier, sociologists published the results of a survey conducted from March 31 to April 3. They said that the recognition of the policy reached a historical maximum of 55% (47% in February). Among people who know who is Navalny, 18% could vote for him in the election of the President of Russia (4% - “definitely yes”, 14% - “perhaps yes”).
As explained in the Levada Center, among all participants in the survey, 10% would have voted for Navalny in the election of the head of state. A month earlier, this figure was 5%. (You can read more about this in the REPUBLIC material.)
Anti-corruption rallies supported 38% of the respondents, the same number of respondents saw the film of the Fund for the fight against corruption (FBK) about the "Secret Empire" of Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
“Oddly enough, the support of Navalny himself is among the least significant reasons why people took to the streets. On the one hand, this indicates the recognition of the self-sufficiency of the stated protest, and on the other hand, the politician is perceived as the moderator of the discussion with the authorities: he does not produce a summons himself, but only expresses existing problems with an understandable surrounding language, ” said Stepan Goncharov, the sociologist of the Levada Center.
On April 5, a press secretary of Navalny Kira Yarmys said that the policy managed to recruit 300 thousand “future votes”-exactly so many signatures need to be collected in order to take part in the elections.
In December 2016, Alexei Navalny reported a desire to participate in the presidential election in 2018. On the same day, the politician published his election program. Its main points were the complete exemption of taxes of individual entrepreneurs with a small income, increasing the minimum wage to 25 thousand rubles, increasing the expenses of the state for medicine and the expansion of the rights of local authorities.
In addition, Navalny advocated rapprochement with the prosperous countries of Europe and called for introducing a visa regime with the countries of Central Asia and Transcaucasia.
The politician opened his election headquarters in 12 Russian cities. After the Moscow rally “he was not Dimon” he was detained and arrested for 15 days, now Navalny is in a special -reception.
