The Russian premiere "Virgo in the Tower" Sibelius is being prepared

On April 23, the first concert execution of the Opera Virgo in the Tower (Jungfrun I Tornet, 1896) will be held in Russia in Moscow-the unity of the finished opera Yana Sibelius.

Also at a concert , which will complete the IV program of the International Festival of Vocal Music “Opera Apriori” , Rimsky-Korsakov’s opera “Kashchei Immortal” will sound.

The concert will be attended by the Moscow Chamber Orchestra Musica Viva under the direction of Alexander Rudin and the state choir chapel named after A.A. Yurlova under the control of Gennady Dmitryak.

Soloists-Natalya Muradymova (Soprano) and Ksenia Dudnikova (Mezzo-Soprano) from the Moscow Academic Musical Theater named after K.S. Stanislavsky and Vl.I. Nemirovich-Danchenko and Maxim Pasteur (tenor) and Peter Migunov (BAS) from the Bolshoi Theater and Marcus Nyeminen (baritone, Finland). Conductor - Ollie Mustonen (Finland).

“Virgin in the tower” will be executed in the original language - the Swedish, native language of the composer.
