Leonid Razvoszhaev was released

Leonid Razvoszhaev, convicted of the case of the organization of unrest in Bolotnaya Square, was released. The colony in Krasnoyarsk Razvozhaev left on the morning of April 7. It is reported by Radio Liberty.

In a conversation with the Radio Liberty correspondent, Razvoevae thanked everyone who supported him, while he was in prison, emphasizing that he perhaps survived this. According to Razvoszhaev, he would like to contribute to the democratization of society and the achievement of social justice, as well as change the situation in the system of execution of sentences.

Podvozhaev was arrested in 2012 as part of a "swamp business". He was accused of organizing the riots and preparing for the organization of riots, as well as in the illegal crossing of the border and sentenced to 4.5 years in prison.

On May 6, 2012, on the eve of the inauguration of Vladimir Putin for the third presidential term, a coordinated protest march was held in Moscow, which was supposed to end in a rally in Bolotnaya Square. However, most of those who came to the event did not reach the venue: next to the cinema "Drummer" at the entrance to Bolotnaya Square, a mass fight began between the participants of the march and the police. Gradually, a significant part of the demonstrators got involved in the confrontation.

Shortly after the march, the case of riots and the application of violence to representatives of the authorities were instituted. The arrests began, which still continue - more than 30 people were brought to criminal liability, many were forced to leave Russia. None of the police officers were punished for abuse of authority.
