Irkutsk Anarchist Martynenko was arrested for 10 days according to the protocol on disobedience to the police

The court in Irkutsk arrested anarchist Igor Martynenko, detained on Saturday after a search in the case of insulting the feelings of believers for 10 days. This was reported by "Mediazona" with reference to the lawyer Viktor Grigorov. The activist was declared guilty under Part 1 of Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (disobedience to the legal request of the policeman).

The hearings were held in the late evening on Monday 15 hours after Martynenko’s maximum 48-hour detention period without sanction.

As the activist Valery Altareva, who was also a witness in the case of insulting the feelings of believers, said, Martynenko petitioned that his mother’s explanations were heard in court, as well as the friends of Sofia Mikityuk, who were present during his detention. However, this petition was rejected.

The case under Part 1 of Article 148 of the Criminal Code (insulting the feelings of believers), which provides for up to the year of the colony, was initiated against the 19-year-old activist Dmitry Litvin, a friend of Martynenko. Searches on the case were held on Saturday morning at a number of oppositionists. Eight people, including Litvin and Martynenko, were taken to interrogations in the TFR.

Activists directly connected searches and detention with plans to hold on April 9 a meeting to discuss the consequences of anti -corruption shares on March 26.

The detainees were interrogated by both investigators and CPE operatives. They were interested in protest promotions in the city. Threats were expressed to the activists.

Nevertheless, by the evening of the same day, everyone except Martynenko was released.

On Monday afternoon it was reported that the location of the activist remains unknown .

In the evening, Grigorov told Mediazone that over the past days, Martynenko was officially questioned as a witness in the Litvin case. In addition, on Sunday, the detainee was taken to the CPE for long "conversations". The operatives demanded that he stop participation in political actions.
