
Politician Alexei Navalny freed himself after 15 days of administrative arrest. This was reported by Interfax with reference to the head of his election headquarters Leonid Volkov.
“He was taken to the Konkovo police department and now released there, at 14:28. He left the ATS, now he is going home, ”Volkov said.
According to the opposition’s ally, Navalny will continue his presidential campaign. The politician intends to take part in the opening of headquarters in Tyumen and Chelyabinsk on April 14-15.
Navalny received 15 days of arrest for resistance to law enforcement officers when being detained on Tverskaya Street in Moscow on March 26 during an inconsistent campaign. He also received a fine of 20 thousand rubles for organizing a public event of a massive stay and (or) movement of citizens in public places, public calls for these actions, as well as participation in them.
