Sasha Vinogradova and the Sirius Orchestra. "Alaskavl"

After several years of searching for sound, Moscow singer Sasha Vinograda released the album “Alaskavl”, where she finally found the perfect support for her sincere and thin songs about the most important thing - her voice is now supported by cello, a violin, a guitar and a cachon from the Sirius orchestra:

The album "Alaskavl" is recorded in one breath with the Sirius orchestra - my love and pride. Over the past five years, there have been many experiments with arrangements of my songs in different projects, but finally there was an ideal combination of tools-cello, violin, guitar and cachon.

It seems to me that the most important thing in creativity is to find people who coincide with you, it is important to feel each other and supplement. I found such people. With the Igor of Russians (guitar) we are long -standing friends, and he already participated in my previous works. Igor very subtly feels music, and I am infinitely pleased that we work together. We met Zhenya Korytov (Kahon) in Prague at the international festival of Russian -speaking culture, where he performed with Savva Rozanov (the project “Sinecdokha Montok”). I invited Ulyan Volkov (cello) to speak at the presentation of the last album “365 days to Martha” in “16 tons”, and then I realized that I could not live without her. The cello is generally my favorite tool, and Ulyana and cello are a great combination. Misha Makarova (violin) was brought by Ulyana, they studied together at the Academy of Music. Gnesins. We got together all together, played, and everything turned out. I realized who I want to do the next project with.

“Alaskavl” is ten songs in Russian and one “bonus” in French. There are two old songs “Karelia” and “Way” on the album, which in the new arrangement sound completely different. The album of love for the whole world, about its beauty, about the beauty of man. There are several very important songs for me: the song “Ocean” is dedicated to my daughter, this is a reflection on the topic of who I should be for her. And the second, “purple symphony”, is an epic composition of the time and place in which we live, about the madness that occurs around. Music was written by Ulyana and Misha.

We worked on this album at the studio b azza.ru along with sound engineer Denis Khakhalkin. It was always very important for me that life remains in music after the recording, so that the main thing was to be read under music and words. It seems to me that we did it.

So historically happened - I play the violin. All my life I was engaged in classics and tried not to mix the concepts of classical music and rock and roll. But, having met Sasha (Vinogradov), I pulled myself together and began to saw the hodgepodge. For me, this album has become a kind of quintessence of my personal creativity for 19 years of classes as beautiful art as music.

Writing an album is how to draw pictures from all your thoughts. Listening to your album is how to look at yourself from the side: you can no longer turn a blind eye to your shortcomings, they are before your eyes. You need to be honest with yourself in order to be able to enjoy what happened: releasing the album means to accept yourself as you are. To share your album is how to come out naked into the public: you get a lot of attention and opposite opinions, but you must be ready for them from the very beginning. To listen to your album is to be ready to grow over yourself, to record the next album is not to be afraid to take the next step.

The presentations of the album "Alaskavl" will be held on April 20 at the Powerhouse Moscow and April 23 at the The Place club (St. Petersburg) .
