The suspect in the Stockholm terrorist attack pleaded guilty

A citizen of Uzbekistan Rakhmat Akilov, suspected of an attack of a terrorist attack in Stockholm, pleaded guilty. This was reported by the Swedish SVT television channel with reference to Akilov’s lawyer.

"He confessed to the commission of a terrorist crime," the lawyer said.

At the same time, the police revealed new details about Akilov. A native of Uzbekistan asked for asylum in Sweden and was refused. Akilov escaped deportation from the country, indicating a false address of residence.
