The court arrested the lawyer detained with drugs in Butyrka

A lawyer, detained in the Moscow Butyrka detention center while trying to smuggle drugs to his client, was arrested, reports with reference to Yulia Ivanova, a representative of the Moscow department of the Investigative Committee. Interfax

The lawyer is suspected of attempted illegal sale of drugs (Part 3 of Article 30 of the Criminal Code, paragraph “d” of Article 228.1 of the Criminal Code).

A source in law enforcement agencies told the Moscow agency that we are talking about the lawyer of the Moscow Gryphon Bar, Mikhail Kozlov.

The incident occurred on April 7. As the FSIN press service said, “several packages of drugs were found in the defender’s trouser pocket.” The examination established that the lawyer had about 200 grams of hashish, three grams of methadone, more than three grams of cocaine and “other psychotropic drugs.”
