In Khakassia, an ambulance took away one of the builders who went on a dry hunger strike due to non-payment of wages, reports with reference to protest participant Evgeniy Saltynyuk. RIA Novosti

“One person was taken away by ambulance. He felt bad,” Saltynyuk said.

The regional Ministry of Health reported that the builder’s life is not in danger.

Earlier it became known that the builders went on a dry hunger strike. According to Saltynyuk, then the ambulance offered to hospitalize three people due to poor health, but they refused.

The workers began a hunger strike on April 6. They warned of going on a dry hunger strike if construction companies did not pay their debts. Initially, the action was planned to be held near the government building of Khakassia, but it was not approved and the builders rented an apartment for this purpose.

At the same time, the regional government believes that they have fulfilled their obligations, and wage debts are a dispute between builders and subcontractors.

Khakass builders have been starving since the end of 2015. One of them, without waiting for payment of money for the work, committed [Roskomnadzor].

In April 2015, hurricane winds began in the republic, which caused fires in 35 settlements. The fire destroyed more than a thousand houses, leaving almost five thousand people on the street. After this, Vladimir Putin ordered the construction of housing for fire victims by September 1, 2015.
