Two people convicted of high treason were transferred to Moscow

Sochi resident Aniko Kesyan and Adler resident Marina Dzhandzhgava, convicted of high treason, were transferred to Moscow and are in the Lefortovo pre-trial detention center. This was reported by the "Caucasian Knot" with reference to lawyers.

On March 30, Kesyan was urgently taken away from the colony in Mordovia, where she was serving her sentence. On April 4, Dzhandzhgava was also transferred from a colony in the Vologda region.

On March 7, Putin pardoned Sochi resident Oksana Sevastidi, convicted on charges of treason. The pardon decree was posted on the Official Internet Portal of Legal Information, and on March 12, the woman was released.

Earlier, the Krasnodar Regional Court sentenced Sevastidi to seven years in prison. The reason was the SMS messages that the woman sent in 2008, shortly before the war with Georgia. She wrote to her friend that she saw a train in Sochi with military equipment going towards Abkhazia.
