Employees of the St. Petersburg Publishing and Publishing House of Publishing House called the police to detain the student and lawyer “Teacher” Arsenia Shokurov-Svignin. The detention occurred before the state exam. This was announced by the Department of Internal Affairs of the Student himself.
The reason for the detention was the conflict with the administration, which refused to allow the student before the exam, since he had supposedly not at one of the disciplines. Shokurov-Svignin himself claims that according to the curriculum, neither the test nor the exam is assumed for this subject. However, when he proposed to close this debt, the administration refused him.
The student told the OVD-Info that the staff of the technical school did not allow him to leave the premises where the conversation about the admission to the exam took place. When he still managed to leave the office, his interlocutors chased after him. As a result of the chase, according to the administration, the glass of one of the doors of the building was broken, which allegedly wounded an employee of the technical school. She wrote a statement to the police that Shokurov-Svignin attacked her with a piece of broken glass. The student himself denies his guilt and claims that he did not even hear the door crashed.
Due to the statement today, Shokurov-Svignin was taken to the 16th police department. There he wrote an explanation and was released.
The Teacher’s trade union, whose lawyer is Svinin, has been the resignation of the director of the technical school, convicted in plagiarism and intending to unite the institution with a construction college since the fall of 2016. Students and teachers are afraid that after the merger the technical school will be closed and they will take their historical building on Vasilyevsky Island.
