On March 26, according to OVD-Info, 1,043 people were detained in the center of Moscow. To date, about 300 court hearings have already taken place.
On April 12, 33 sessions were held in the Tverskoy District Court, all of them were held under Art. 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (Violation of the established procedure for organizing or holding a meeting, rally, demonstration, procession or picketing).
Cases under part 5 (Violation by a participant of a public event of the established procedure for holding a rally) and under part 6.1 (Participation in an unsanctioned meeting, rally, demonstration, procession or picketing that interfered with the functioning of life support facilities, transport or social infrastructure, communications, pedestrian traffic and (or) vehicles).
Five people were fined 20,000 roubles, three people 15,000 rubles, and eight people 10,000 rubles.
In the Tverskoy Court today there were also trials for protest festivities on April 2: judge Orekhova fined Konstantin Silin 20,000 rubles under part 5 of article 20.2. In addition, V. Vetchinin and Pavel Nagovitsyn were fined 10,000 rubles each. Data on other court decisions are not yet available.
