The head of the Department of Culture, Sports and Youth Policy Anna Tereshkova held a meeting of the working group at the May Day events on April 12. The organizer of the monstration of Artem Loskutov was not, the interests of the action represented Alexander Popov.

Apparently, given not the most successful experience: in 2016, we recall, according to the regional and city authorities, the action took place within the framework of the law, but the police still detained Loskutov and charged him with an unauthorized event.

“We have a proposal to hold a youth procession - we call it so for so far - by May 1,” said Irina Solovyova, head of the youth committee. - We would not want to go to another site, since there is no procession at the moment. We analyzed the synchron of political parties, a potential rally, sports relay races and public relations management measures, and if we understand that security is now in question, we would like to start officers from the house. The city intensifies security measures for all passing columns, so they decided to reduce the route. ”

Police representatives confirmed that against the procession from Kalinin Square: “We technically cannot ensure security, and for the townspeople a great inconvenience is the floor of Gogol, Pisarev, Kalinin Square. We want to minimize these risks. ”
