Usmanov sued Navalny and FBK

The billionaire Alisher Usman filed a lawsuit in the Lublin District Court of Moscow to protect honor and dignity to the leader of the Party of Progress Alexei Navalny and the Fund for the fight against corruption. This is reported by Interfax.

Usmanov announced the intention to sue Navalny and FBK on Tuesday . The reason he called the mention of himself in the investigation of the FBK "He is not Dimon" about real estate Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. As FBK found out, several funds associated with persons from the Medvedev’s entourage received money from the businessman and suburban estates. In particular, the Sotsgosproekt Foundation, whose supervisory board is headed by the classmate of Prime Minister Ilya Eliseev, the company Usmanov USM Holdings transferred a plot in the Odintsovo district of the Moscow Region with an area of ​​more than 4 hectares.

Usmanov himself assures that the transfer of this site to the "social project" was part of the real estate exchange transaction . According to the billionaire, for this land he received from the fund a plot of 12 hectares in the village of Uspenskoye in Rublevka. Navalny, however, insists that the businessman is lying. As the politician explains, the land in the Assumption Usmanov bought from two commercial firms and the acquisition of one and the transfer of the other site has no connection.

The press service of the USM Holdings said that a plot of 12 hectares in Uspensky was owned by the East Invest groups, with which the STSGOSPROPECT had an agreement on the joint development of the site. According to the representative of the East Invest groups, it was planned to build a cottage village there: this company was supposed to provide land, and the fund - to ensure financing.

Usmanov takes third place in the ranking of 200 richest businessmen of Russia according to Forbes. The publication estimates its condition of $ 12.5 billion. In October 2016, Usmanov ceased to be a tax resident of Russia .
