Four people detained on March 26 in Moscow were charged with assaulting a police officer

Four detainees at a rally against corruption on March 26 in Moscow were charged under Article 318 (use of violence against a representative of the authorities). It is reported by the Investigative Committee (IC).

Charges were brought against Alexander Shpakov, Stanislav Zimovets, Yuri Kuliy and Andrey Kosykh. They were detained.

According to investigators, Shpakov punched a police officer several times in the face while trying to open the door of the bus with the detainees on Tverskaya Street. Kosykh, according to the Investigative Committee, hit a policeman on the head at the junction of the Tverskaya metro station, and in the area of ​​​​Malaya Dmitrovka Street, he kicked ensign Yevgeny Gavrilov on the head, after which he lost consciousness.

Zimovets, according to the department, threw a brick in the back of a National Guard officer near Pushkinskaya Square. After that, he "hid in the crowd, changed clothes for the purpose of conspiracy, hid the jacket in a backpack, took out a traumatic pistol and returned to the scene, continuing to provoke those present to illegal actions." Kuliy also attacked a police officer, the report said.

The Investigative Committee notes that it has video recordings that confirm the guilt of the detainees, and Kosykh and Kuliy voluntarily testified and admitted their guilt.
