FSIN apologized to Ildar Dadin

Employees of Colony No. 5 in the Altai Territory sent a letter to Ildar Dadin with an apology and wrote about his right to rehabilitation. Human rights activist Anna Zotova writes about this on Twitter.

His sentence under Article 212.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation for repeated violations of the rules for holding a rally was overturned by the Presidium of the Supreme Court on February 22. Previously, he was sentenced to two and a half years in prison.

In November 2016, Dadin reported in a letter to freedom about the torture to which he and other prisoners were subjected in Penal Colony No. 7 in Karelia. In 2017, he was transferred to IK-5 of the Altai Territory.

The Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia has already twice refused to initiate a criminal case regarding the torture of Ildar Dadin in IK-7.
