
The Federal Penitentiary Service (FSIN) has official apology to the opposition activist Ildar Dadin in connection with the abolition of the sentence in the case of repeated violation of the procedure for holding rallies. The letter of the FSIN was published on her twitter wife Dadina Anastasia Zotova.

The letter states that Dadin has the right to rehabilitation, reimbursing property damage, eliminating the latter moral harm and restoration in all rights.
In January 2015, a criminal case was opened against Dadin under an article on repeated violation of the procedure for holding rallies. He was sentenced to three years in a general regime colony. On March 31, 2016, the Court of Appeal reduced the sentence to 2.5 years.
In February 2017, the Supreme Court of Russia justified the activist, after which he was released . In March, the Russian government instructed the Ministry of Justice to prepare amendments for an article providing for imprisonment for repeated violation of the procedure for holding rallies.
