The court in St. Petersburg arrested the ninth defendant of the case of recruiting terrorists

The Oktyabrsky District Court of St. Petersburg arrested Aijigit Aitmatov until June 4, the ninth suspect in the recruitment in terrorist organizations. This was reported by Interfax with reference to the press service of the city court.

Aitmatov, as noted in the message, is born in 1985, has a child. He does not have registration. The citizenship of the arrested is not reported. Aitmatov is charged with part 1 of Article 205.1 of the Criminal Code (declension to terrorist activity).

Since in accordance with Article 109 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, the court appoints detention for a period of two months from the moment of detention, it should be assumed that Aitmatov was detained on April 4. However, it is not clear on what grounds he was in custody without a court decision 11 days.
