The police began the detentions of the participants in the racket of the Association of Carriers of Russia on Nevsky Prospekt in support of the truckers' protests, photographer David Frenkel told Mediazone.

According to him, the police had a conflict with one of the participants in the action that doubted the documents they provided. The man was taken into a car for a 15-minute conversation during which his comrades surrounded the police car. After the activist got out of the car, he was detained; The cloudy truckers tried to protect him, but at that time the employees of the National Guard or OMON came running and proceeded to the detentions.

Eight people were detained, including the Chairman of the Central Executive Committee Andrei Bazhutin and the coordinator of the St. Petersburg branch Sergey Vladimirov. The police department said that seven detainees were delivered to them. The protocol under Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation of the established procedure for organizing or holding a promotion) was drawn up to Bazhutin and another detainee Vyacheslav Grinko.

Participants in the action came to the police department in Pushkin, where the detainees were delivered. More than four hours have passed since the detention.

It was planned to carry out a car racing on Nevsky Prospekt on cars with OPR flags. The column of participants in the action was stopped on the Moscow highway. The rally is held in support of the strike of the carriers, which began in the regions on March 27.
