The British anti-doping agency (Yukad) will conduct extra-supporting doping testing in clubs of the Russian football Premier League (Premier League). This information was confirmed by TASS

“This is the first time, but there is nothing wrong with that,” said the chairman of the Medical Committee of the RFU, Eduard Bezuglov TASS. “This is a normal practice, thousands of athletes included in the Adams system do this for many years.”

“Now Yukad wants an analogue of this system to introduce in football,” he added. “It's okay, work will be added to doctors, and the administrative headquarters of clubs will plan the training process and moves for a longer and longer period,” said the head of the RFU medical committee.

Previously, Russian clubs participating in European competitions, as well as players of the national team, were previously subjected to doping control.

Adams is one of the main WADA tools in the fight against doping. This system is designed to control the database located on the Internet. Each athlete, part of the national testing pool or in the testing pool of the International Federation, should fill out information about his whereabouts in it.
