Each person is much more than our idea of him. Well, it would seem that we all knew about US President Trump. For many, a rather unpleasant subject, daffodil, in business - a businessman, sometimes climbing on the verge of law, in politics - demagogues, indifferent to the experiences and suffering of other people. Back in early April, Trump believed that Syrian President Assad, by order of which hundreds of thousands of citizens of the country were destroyed, is the political reality with which we must reckon. Moreover, by some side, Assad seems to be involved in the fight against the Islamic State-this main, according to Trump, the enemy of the United States.
Well, who could expect that this person would be shocked to the depths of the soul by television personnel of death from the chemical poisoning of dozens of civilians, including young children. Babies! -As Trump exclaimed several times at his press conference. And he did something that only an absolutely inexperienced politician is capable of. Within five minutes, he turned American foreign policy in the Middle East - both Obamovskaya, and already, it would seem, outlined as the continuation of Obamovskaya his own. He cursed Assad, smeared Obama on the wall of Barack Obama for his rejection of the Red Line in 2013, untied his hands to the Syrian dictator and his Russian cartridge. He announced that for him, Trump, Assad crossed all the conceivable and inconceivable red and any other lines and would not remain unpunished. “Assad is an animal,” Trump will add to the characterization of “our only in the Middle East” a few days later.
And right with a press conference, the head of the United States of America went to dinner with the Chinese President of SI, and the Caribbean Crisis 2.0, a potential military clash with a nuclear superpower, erupted in dessert. "Caribbean 2.0", unlike the first , lasted not two weeks, but only a few in the morning from April 6 to 7, and personally for Vladimir Putin ended with a much greater shame than Caribbean for Nikita Khrushchev. The Secretary General then came out of the situation, retaining, at least formally, a face. In 1962, in response to the withdrawal of Soviet missiles from Cuba, the Americans agreed to bring their missiles from Turkey.
Today we state the complete and humiliating failure of Russia. The Americans mockingly in a few hours warned the Russian military about the blow , offering them to withdraw their staff from the base. Thus, making it clear, by the way, which they know well: Moscow knew and, moreover, actually participated in a chemical attack. And it turned out that Putin, in fact, simply “pore” in Syria for two years: he did not even think to try to protect his dear ally of Assad. Despite the repeated official statements of the Kremlin that the S-300 and S-400 are deployed in Syria precisely to "protect Syrian airfields from American cruise missiles."
Putin prudently retreated. You can chat about radioactive ash as you like, but only to the threat of a real clash at a conventional level, where the superiority of the American side is overwhelming. And no one subscribed to a nuclear draw of mutually guaranteed suicide. And above all, the Kremlin leaders-gedonists. Well, in addition, the vaunted S-300 and S-400 simply could not stop the American Tomagavka. As one major military specialist explained the next day on Russian television , "we did not take into account the factor of the curvature of the Earth."
Russia is an accomplice in this serious war crime
On April 12, Rex Tilleryson, enlisted the support of colleagues in the G7 , arrived in Moscow to formalize the post -carb situation. His predecessor, Secretary of State John Kerry, was "prescribed" in Moscow during his first visit three and a half hours of waiting in the Putin's dressing room. Tillerson was kept all day in the ignorance of whether he would be an interview with Sergey Lavrov and whether the Solstice would be awarded. However, judging by the behavior of Tillerson at a press conference following these meetings , Putin and Lavrov did not pass an interview with him. The tonality of the statements was completely different than that of the unfortunate Kerry, who dutifully muttered in the course of the destruction of Aleppo: "Oh, Seerge ... I am with Seerge ..."
And the point was not only in the post -carb situation on Earth, but also in the personality of Tillers himself. Many said that a newcomer in foreign policy will have to be difficult with a "outstanding multi-peeled master" of Soviet-Russian diplomacy. Nothing of the kind: the Russian Order -bearer turned out to be a textured man who is well aware of the price of himself and his word. He spoke very briefly, correctly, beautiful transparent English and exclusively in the case. And Lavrov somehow blown away immediately-he settled into the long-in-law press conference, the long-term monologues, then confused in mutually exclusive Russian versions of the tragedy on April 4 , then laid down about the fate of dictators who left us for various reasons, long-term Soviet clients.
As it was often practiced with Kerry, the first question of the Russian side was the bailiff with a mission to cut off Tillerson. With noble indignation in his voice, the young man asked, until the Americans (read: President Trump) will allow themselves to be unacceptable rhetoric: to call animals an outstanding statesman, a legally chosen president of the sovereign state. Tillerson answered very calmly and convincingly: President Assad awarded himself such a characteristic.
The central, containing the Consolidated Message of the West Kremlin, with which Tillerson arrived in Moscow, was his answer to another question asked by the American journalist about Russia's involvement in the chemical attack on Khan-Sheikhun: "We have no firm confirmation that there was any involvement in Russia, Russian forces, in this attack." It was not by chance that I allocated one word in the quote. It is key. The next day, President Trump almost literally repeated this statement of his Secretary of State, adding two points to him. Firstly, the Pentagon carefully studies all the data on the involvement of Russians in a chemical attack on civilians. Secondly, he, Trump, will be very, well, very upset if it turns out that the Russians were really involved. Russia denies accusations of its involvement in a chemical attack at all official levels .
I translate all this from a diplomatic language to a language that diplomats are not used clearly, but they understand very well. Assad is an animal. On April 4, the Russian aircraft of the Air Force with Russian chemical weapons on board flew out of the base, stuffed with Russian military advisers, and struck a chemical blow to Khan Sheikhun. Russia is an accomplice in this serious war crime. But we are ready to close our eyes to this and provide you with a window of opportunities. You can, without losing your face, leave the world of animals (Assad, Hezbollah, the Corps of Guardians of the Islamic Revolution), in which, according to some strange misunderstanding, you were. But time has already gone.
