Activists of the "Young Front" Dashkevich and Palchevsky are freed from the KGB pre -trial detention center in Minsk

The leader of the Belarusian "Young Front" Dmitry Dashkevich and activist of this organization Sergey Palchevsky, arrested in the White Legion case, were released from the KGB pre -trial detention center in Minsk on a recognizance not to leave. This was then reported by "Radieo Svaboda."

Dashkevich and Palchevsky were detained on March 22 , a few days before a large protest action dedicated to the day of will. On April 1, it became known that they, as well as the eight defendants in the case, were charged under Part 3 of Article 293 of the Criminal Code of Belarus ( preparation of persons to participate in the riots ), which provides for up to three years of the colony.

The 35 -year -old Dashkevich has already been convicted three times in criminal cases , including twice - by real terms. In 2006, he received a year and a half of the general regime "for organizing the activities of a public association that has not passed state registration." A year later, the activist was fined under the article of the Criminal Code to refuse to testify for refusing to testify against comrades in the "young front".

In December 2010, on the eve of the presidential election in Belarus, Dashkevich was detained on charges of hooliganism. He was charged with participation in a fight in which two people were injured. On March 24, 2011, the opposition was sentenced to two years of general regime. In September of the same year, it became known that he was tortured in the SHISO IK-9 in Gorki, the Mogilev region.

Later, the Politzeck was transferred to IK-13 in the city of Glubokoye Vitebsk region. In August 2012, a closed court in this colony gave Dashkevich an additional year of imprisonment "for malicious disobedience to the requirements of the colony administration."
