In the Perm Territory, a court sentenced a resident of Nytva who stole a garage to 480 hours of correctional time, reports the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to investigators, an unemployed and previously convicted Nytvin resident born in 1983 in November 2016 “drew attention to the allegedly ownerless garage” and decided to scrap it.
“For this purpose, he turned to his friends, whom he asked for help in loading and transporting the structure. The citizens agreed because the attacker convinced them that he was the owner of the garage. The man divided part of the proceeds from the sale of property among his assistants, and spent the remaining funds at his own discretion,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.
After this, the real owner of the garage contacted the police, the suspect was detained, he confessed and repented. The garage was returned to the owner.
