Megapolis will celebrate the 30th anniversary in the Gogol Center

On June 1, a concert dedicated to the thirtieth anniversary of the Megapolis group will be held at the Gogol-Center in Moscow, which for the first time reached the stage of the legendary Gorbushka exactly 30 years ago, on May 27, 1987.

The concert will be their four parts, each of which will have its own drama and special guests.

“It will be a concert with the atmosphere of the party. -Gogol-central website quotes the words of the leader of the Megapolis Oleg Nesterov. - There will be more of the future than the past, in the sense that we would like to be remembered - both for past songs, and in the present - as much as we will be this evening. In general, this concert is not about numbers, round or not round. Everything that is less infinity is not interested in us. There is nothing in the world that could describe infinity, except for music. We are trying to use this. ”

Over the 30 years of its existence, the Megapolis released 10 albums, managed to stop for 14 years, to stay with a “beloved group of Moscow students”, get to the heights of the hit parades with the songs of Andrei Voznesensky about the “blue eggs of the thrush”, go down in history with the first national hit in German ( “Karl-Marx-Stadt” ), and return to their homeland “where are the flowers” ​​where are the flowers? .

The album “Superango”, with which the group returned after a long silence in 2010, became the last in his stories, the “megapolis” defines all the further activity as “Projects”: this is a large-scale multi-platform of dedication to the uninhabited films of the 60s “From the life of the planets” (2014), and the project of intuitive music “Zerolines” (2017).
