The Department of Public Safety of the Samara Region has excluded Pushkin Square from the list of Hyde Parks, where a rally against corruption had previously taken place. This is stated in the resolution on the website of the Government of the Samara region. Now only two hyde parks remain in Samara.
After the actions on March 26 in some cities of Russia, the authorities reduce the number of Hyde parks or transfer them.
For example, the authorities of Tomsk decided to move Hyde Park from the city center to an industrial area on the outskirts. And the governor of the Orenburg region has reduced the number of hyde parks in several cities and villages.
Hyde parks are areas where rallies of up to 100 people can be held and they do not need to be coordinated with the municipal administration.
