A supporter of Vyacheslav Maltsev was detained in Cheboksary for a photograph

In Cheboksary, the police detained a supporter of Vyacheslav Maltsev, Vyacheslav Rybakov, for a photograph where several people are standing with chicken eggs in their hands, on which letters are written that spell out the phrase “Freedom for Maltsev.” Activist Sergei Okunev reported this on the OVD-Info hotline.

The photo was taken the day before yesterday - thus Rybakov and the people holding eggs in their hands expressed solidarity with politician Vyacheslav Maltsev, who was arrested on April 14 for 15 days in Moscow for allegedly disobeying the legal demand of a police officer (Article 19.3 of the Administrative Code) during the action on April 26.

On April 16, Rybakov was detained during a single picket in support of Maltsev - as a result, the court fined him 20,000 rubles under Art. 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation of the procedure for holding a public event). According to Okunev, the police also considered the photograph with eggs to be a public event held in violation of the law.
