The activists detained in Cheboksary, who were photographed with chicken eggs in their hands, were released from the police station. This was reported to OVD-Info by Sergey Okunev, Maltsev's assistant. Letters were written on the eggs, forming the phrase "Freedom to Maltsev."
Earlier it was reported about the detention of 11 people, but it turned out that only three people were taken to police station No. 1 today. Among them are Vyacheslav Rybakov and former kindergarten teacher Elena Blinova.
A protocol was drawn up against Rybakov under Part 2 of Art. 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (organizing or holding a public event without filing a notification), the rest are charged with Part 5 of Art. 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation by a participant of a public event of the procedure for holding a meeting).
According to Okunev, the police are going to detain the remaining eight people within a few days.
